Renowned pianist, vocalist, and composer, Cynthis Hilts returns for a blazing and uplifting concert of original music. For over 25 years she has written music inspired by her time at the Montana Artists Refuge and environs. Cynthia’s work spans an astounding rainbow of styles, including driving jazz, lullabies, odes to the mountains and the skies, and humorous outing such as the cowboy blues “A Heifer on Capitalist Ave”. The concert will feature music from her repertoire, as well as her newest pieces composed this summer. Longtime collaborator MJ Williams will be her special guest on trombone and voice, in some rollicking and gorgeous duets.
